Betty curse @ The glebe, April 2006
Their first gig in Stoke, Betty curse alongside support from 'local' bands Jungle studio & The cakes played at The glebe. A slightly appropriate venue considering the stories of ghosts in the venue & being based opposite a church.
We're not really here to read about the local bands are we, so lets skip to the main band. Betty curse look & sound like a crossover between Jack off jill & The cure but still sound quite different altogether.
Playing "excuse all the blood" a song inspired by dead from mayhem, "met on the internet" which shall be the first single out soon ('hint hint' readers!) & ending on "yellow hair". Live they are definetly different & a welcome change to the 'samey' bands of late.
